This page explains what happens to your email address when you sign up to hear about Passerio’s launch.
1. Who is responsible
Passerio decides how your data is used. For any question about your data, email contact@passerio.com.
2. What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign up with “Get notified”.
- When you signed up and when you confirmed, which our email provider records as proof of your consent.
- Basic technical data your browser sends when you sign up, such as your IP address, which our email provider uses to keep the form secure.
We don’t ask for your name, and we don’t use cookies to track you on this site.
3. Why we use it
We use your email address only to:
- send you a link to confirm your sign-up;
- send you one email when Passerio launches.
We do this because you asked us to: your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. We never sell your address or share it for advertising.
4. Who handles it for us
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France) stores the list and sends our emails from servers in the European Union, under a data processing agreement that requires it to protect your data.
- The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (United States), which keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, for a short time. Its data processing agreement includes the safeguards EU law requires for transfers outside the EU.
- The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts and an animation library from cdnjs (Cloudflare), which receive your IP address when the page loads.
5. How long we keep it
Until we send the launch email, plus up to 3 months, unless you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it sooner. If you don’t confirm your sign-up, your address isn’t added to our list.
6. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to how we use it, or to get a copy of it. You can withdraw your consent at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails or write to contact@passerio.com. Withdrawing doesn’t affect what we did before.
If you think we haven’t handled your data properly, you can complain to the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.
7. Changes
If this page changes, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email address, we’ll tell you by email first.
